Terms of Service

What this service is

VisionCTRL is an AI-assisted safety monitoring service. Cameras at a customer's site feed video into a detection pipeline that identifies hazards and activity (people, vehicles, fire, smoke and similar), groups related sightings into occurrences, grades them for severity, and, where warranted, notifies people the customer has designated, by email and, where enabled, SMS.

What data we process

Detections and occurrences are kept for the life of the pilot. Evidence clips and image crops move to cheaper, slower storage after 90 days but are not deleted. Notification records (who was notified, when, and what they did about it) are kept as the duty-of-care record of the pilot. Not every category above is deleted on a fixed schedule today; a customer should not assume a retention period is enforced unless VisionCTRL confirms it in writing.

Who it is shared with

Notification content is shared only with the recipients the customer's organisation has configured. Nobody outside that list is notified. Delivering an email requires passing it to our email delivery provider, which processes the message on our behalf; delivering an SMS, once enabled, requires the equivalent for text messages. We do not sell or otherwise share this data with third parties for their own purposes.

Your responsibilities

No warranties beyond what is true

This service is under active development and is being operated as a pilot. Detections can be missed or wrong, notifications can be delayed, and some features described elsewhere in the product (for example, SMS delivery) may exist in the system without yet being switched on for your site. We do not warrant that the service will detect every hazard or that every alert will be delivered. We make no claim of certification (such as ISO or SOC 2) that has not been obtained.
